Encryption at Rest
All data encrypted with AES-256 before it hits disk. Even if someone got physical access to our servers, your data would be unreadable.

TLS 1.3 for all data in motion. Your video uploads, API calls, and dashboard sessions are protected end-to-end.

All data stored in SOC 2 certified facilities in the United States. No offshore servers, no questionable jurisdictions.

Continuous backups with point-in-time recovery. If something goes wrong, we can restore your data to any moment.
Configurable Retention
You control how long footage is kept—30 days, 90 days, or longer. When it's deleted, it's actually deleted.

A Note on Certification
We believe in transparency. Tuxedo Drive is compliant with SOC 2 controls—meaning we implement and follow the security practices—but we are not yet certified. Formal SOC 2 Type II certification involves a third-party audit and is on our roadmap. If your organization requires a formal attestation letter, please contact us to discuss your specific needs.
Security Questions
Where is my data stored?
All data is stored in US-based data centers operated by major cloud providers (AWS/GCP). We do not store data outside the United States.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can delete individual clips, adjust retention policies, or request a complete data export and deletion. When data is deleted, it's removed from all systems including backups within 30 days.
Who can access my footage?
Only users you authorize. Our support team can access your account data only with your explicit permission, and all support access is logged.
Do you sell my data?
No. Your data is yours. We don't sell, share, or use your business data for anything other than providing the Tuxedo Drive service to you.
Are you SOC 2 certified?
We implement SOC 2 Type II controls and follow the Trust Services Criteria, but we are not yet formally certified. Our infrastructure providers (AWS/GCP) maintain SOC 2, SOC 3, ISO 27001, and other certifications. Formal Tuxedo Drive certification is on our roadmap.
Can I get a security questionnaire completed?
Yes. We can complete security questionnaires for enterprise evaluations. Contact us and we'll provide detailed documentation of our security practices.
